Updated training on infectious substances
Saf-T-Pak has released the 2012 version of its Division 6.2 dangerous goods compliance training suite. The material provides specific training on the requirements of the air transport regulations and the national provisions in place in the US and Canada and meets the requirements that individuals engaged in the transport of hazardous materials must be trained and certified.
“Through this newly released training suite our industry has several budget-friendly training options for meeting the national and international regulations,” says David Hebrank, general manager of Saf-T-Pak. “For companies reducing their travel budgets, our computer-based options permit individuals to acquire training at their own pace. Additionally, this training option is available in English, Spanish and French.”
The Saf-T-Pak suite allows training to be delivered over the internet, through DVDs or in live seminars. It covers the shipping of infectious substances of both Category A and B, all types of patient specimens, and genetically modified organisms, with or without dry ice.
