Univar widens scope with Magnesia

Univar has signed an exclusive deal with Magnesia to distribute its entire range of pharmaceutical and food products in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The deal builds on an existing exclusive distribution agreement in Hungary and includes Magnesia's range of MagGran® neutraceuticals consisting of granulated magnesium and calcium compounds typically used in pharmaceuticals, abrasives, ceramics, cosmetics, fertilisers and plastics. "Quality and service are the most important elements to the end user in the pharmaceutical and food sectors so we are very pleased to have Magnesia as part of our portfolio," says Balázs Kiss, general manager of Univar CEE South. "We are already seeing strong demand for the MagGran range within the region and are confident it will prove to be a popular feature in our portfolio."
