Tajikistan signs ADR

Tajikistan deposited its accession document with the UN this past December 28, making it the 48th contracting party to the ADR Agreement and the regulations annexed thereto. The ADR Agreement therefore enters into force in the country on January 28, 2012.

Interestingly, none of Tajikistan’s immediate neighbours is a signatory to ADR.
