Pack2pack gets accredited in Avonmouth

Pack2pack’s packaging reconditioning plant in Avonmouth, UK has attained ISO 14001 accreditation for both its site and its thermal drum processing operations. “This is the formal recognition of many of the systems and control measures we already had in place as a licensed IPPC site regulated by the Environment Agency,” says national sales manager Stephen Hounsell. “This is a standard many of our customers and suppliers have asked us about and are looking for in their suppliers. Whilst we had run an in-house environmental management system for a number of years, we can now just say ‘Yes we meet the standard’, which has to be a good thing for them and us,” he continues.
