Orkila opens in Nairobi

Lebanon-headquartered Orkila has established a new affiliate in Nairobi. The new entity, Orkila East Africa, will be responsible for developing Orkila’s interests throughout the region, covering, in addition to Kenya, the markets of Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda. “With the creation of Orkila East Africa, Orkila reinforces its established position as  the leading chemical distributor in the Middle East and Africa capable of providing products and services appropriate to the needs of its customers and the local markets, both now and in the future,” the company says. Outside of its home country, Orkila currently maintains a presence across Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Syria, the UAE, Jordan, Cyprus, Iran and Pakistan.
