Omya heads east

Switzerland’s Omya and Jakarta-based United Chemicals Inter Aneka (UCIA) have formed a joint venture for the distribution of speciality chemicals across Indonesia. “Omya is an excellent partner for United Chemicals Inter Aneka,” assert UCIA shareholders Herman Moeliana and David Tanuwijaya. “The combination will create many synergies by providing enhanced services for our customers, access to a broader base of chemical manufacturers and products and opportunities to leverage the global sourcing capabilities of Omya.”
