NCG expands German IBC cleaning

Mauser's reconditioning subsidiary National Container Group (NCG) has formed a joint venture with Germany's Weiss Tankwagenreinigung. Named NCG/Weiss IBC-Servicecenter, it will operate cleaning, repair, inspection and conversion services for metal and reconditioned composite IBCs at an existing Weiss location in Bickenbach.

"We are very pleased to welcome the Weiss family into our NCG network. The company has excellent know-how, which combined with our experience in IBC reconditioning is very promising," says Mauser CEO Hans-Peter Schaefer. "Based on their long-term global experience with large customer orders, NCG is helping us to increase the efficiency of the [Bickenbach] location," adds Jürgen Weiss, the new joint venture's director of operations.
