MSE drums up new drum pumps

Finish Thompson has expanded its range of drum pumps with the launch of the compact EF Series. Available in the UK from Michael Smith Engineers (MSE), the new pumps are available with either a two-speed splash-proof electric motor or a variable speed air motor. Offering “a perfect alternative to hand pumps”, they provide “a clean and efficient method of liquids transfer in applications such as water treatment, surface treatment and finishing processes”. All models feature a 316 stainless steel tube and shaft with tube lengths of either 41cm, 69 cm, 102 cm or 122 cm, making them “suitable for pumping out most sizes of tanks, drums and carboys”.

With the addition of a stainless steel tube assembly to the range of polypropylene and pure polypropylene/pure PVDF tubesets already available, the EF Series of drum pumps can be used to transfer a wide range of common chemicals. Designed for light- to medium-duty applications, the EF range boasts flow rates of up to 64 litres per minute. A leading supplier of specialist pumps for difficult liquid handling applications since 1971, MSE has promoted the Finish Thompson range of drum pumps in the UK for more than 30 years.
