The Miller-Valentine Group (MVG) has begun work on a new manufacturing facility in Lexington, North Carolina for Schütz-owned packagings reconditioner Cardinal Container. According to MVG, the project is intended to complement Cardinal’s existing IBC cleaning and recycling operations "with a new IBC production programme" and "consists of a building addition and industrial renovation" to the existing 20,400 m2 vacant building. The new facility, it continues, "will provide bridge cranes, energy-efficient T-5 lighting and plant utility improvements to service the new production equipment". Meanwhile, the renovations to the existing industrial facility "include structural modifications, plant chilled water, compressed air and power infrastructure for the manufacturing line".
