Mauser to open in Poland

Mauser will this month open its first plant in Poland. Located in Gliwice, the facility will produce UN- and non-UN-approved SM6, SM13 and SM15 IBCs, UN-approved 120- and 150-litre open-top drums and UN-approved 220-litre L-Ring drums. "Expanding our activities in Eastern Europe is a major strategic step for us in the market," says Dr Juergen Scherer, SBU manager Europe. "Until now, we served our customers in the Polish market through our plants in Germany. This new plant enables us to be even closer to our customers in the region."
