Kerry makes its own parts

Kerry Logistics has opened a foundry to supply parts for tank containers in China, as well as an ISO-tank depot in India, through its member company Kerry-ITS. “In China, Kerry has opened a facility in Dongying city, in the province of Shangdong, to support its regional ISO-tank business with uninterrupted OEM (original equipment manufacturer) precision engineering, parts manufacturing, distribution and supplies,” says the company. In India, the company says that it located its new 11,300 m² depot facility in Kandla to provide a broad range of ISO-tank cleaning and repair services. The facility is situated 8 km from Kandla Port in the state of Gujarat.
