European private intermodal rail operator Hupac, in cooperation with Russkaya Troyka, has launched a new train connection between Moscow, Russia, and Slawkow, Poland. The company says the new connection, in combination with other existing connections, will provide shippers with access to an east-west corridor stretching from Rotterdam, the Netherlands all the way to Vostochny in Russia's far east, including access to points in Belgium, Germany and Italy. The new shuttle train will run once a week in either direction.
