EPA extends CDR deadline

US EPA is extending the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Regulation submission deadline to August 13.The current deadline was June 30. EPA is responding to appeals by industry that the submission period under CDR - February 1 to June 30 - was too tight, particularly in light of the timing of some interpretations and the availability of electronic submission.

The CDR rule was promulgated in August 2011 to amend the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) reporting requirements. EPA stresses that this latest extension to the deadline is a one-off and will only apply to the 2012 reporting period. Full details can be found here.
