DGIS back in Chicago

Labelmaster’s 2012 Dangerous Goods Instructors’ Symposium (DGIS VII) will take place in the company’s home town of Chicago this coming September 5 to 7. The event returns to Chicago after last year’s highly successful outing to Memphis (HCB November 2011, page 27), but to a different hotel – the Doubletree Chicago. Details of the programme for the event are yet to be finalised, but agendas and presentations from earlier events can be found at www.myregs.com/airregs/conferences/, along with booking details and hotel reservation links for the 2012 Symposium.

The Dangerous Goods Trainers Association (DGTA) will be holding its annual members’ meeting just ahead of the Symposium, probably on September 4, at the same location.

HCB is certainly planning on being at DGIS VII and will be bringing all the news back for readers, but as a prime opportunity to undertake some networking with the global dangerous goods community, turning up in person is highly recommended.
