Clariant picks IMCD for solvents

Clariant International has named IMCD as its distributor for its special solvents/Genosorb® product range across Africa, the Middle East and Europe with the exception of Switzerland. “The IMCD Group has an established reputation in all relevant market sectors and their dedicated team of technical sales executives will provide a coordinated and simplified route to market,” says Dr Thomas Volkmer, distribution manager for Clariant’s industrial and consumer specialties business unit. “Through our proven European product management model and market- focused networks we will simplify the business for Clariant and generate growth through new application areas,” adds Marcus Jordan, IMCD’s group development director.
