CDF purchases Plymouth plant

US-based CDF has acquired a 10,000 m2 facility in Plymouth, Massachusetts. “The purchase of this additional building will allow CDF to invest in the future of our existing product lines – drum and pail and intermediate bulk container (IBC) bags and liners – and to expand into new product areas, such as Cheertainer bag-in-box products and Cheer Pack spouted pouch products,” says CDF president Joe Sullivan, Jr.

Located within the Plymouth Industrial Park, the facility includes office and manufacturing space and will now be home to CDF’s R&D, administrative and engineering teams. “Our whole reason for being is to create a company to bring best-in-class packaging to industrial customers and to give them a competitive edge,” adds COO Laura Beechwood. “Because of that, we have to look at solutions that can translate into a win for both our customers and our company.”
