BTT expansion goes ahead

The next phase of construction at Botlek Tank Terminal (BTT) is now underway after the Port of Rotterdam signed a contract to begin filling in existing berths.The reclaimed land will be used to extend the BTT site, allowing storage capacity to be expanded from the current 200,000 m3 to some 750,000 m3 during the second half of 2014. A new rail loading facility and a connection to the European aviation fuel pipeline system will also be included in the work.
