Bras buys out TML

Co-founder Fred Bras has bought out his two partners in Taylor Minster Leasing. Bras's new company, Taylor Minster Leasing BV, has acquired all the shares in TML Tankcontainers Ltd and the management company Taylor Minster Leasing Ltd. Co-founder Richard Goldstein will remain on the board of the latter company but the third founder-shareholder, Roy Jones, has decided to retire.

Bras says the deal could not have gone through without the help of Goldstein and Jones, each of whom was keen that TML should stay "in the family". Goldstein is, Bras says, "a very valuable asset with a wealth of experience in many fields of the business".

TML owns and manages a fleet of some 4,800 tank containers for liquids and gases. It is the largest lessor of cryogenic tanks and has recently placed an order for a number of 40-foot tanks designed to handle LNG.

Taylor Minster Leasing BV is headquartered in Spijkenisse, the Netherlands. All head office functions will be relocated over the next few months.
