Biesterfeld appoints Hamelau

Dr Nicole Hamelau has been named managing director of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie alongside incumbent managing director Dr Onno Graalmann. She will be responsible for the administrative management of the company, its subsidiaries and affiliates. In her new role, Hamelau takes over from Wilfried Dannheiser, who has now retired after more than 42 years with the Biesterfeld Group having been "significantly involved in rolling out the successful pan-European expansion of the activities of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie". Hamelau joined Biesterfeld in 2003 and was previous responsible for financing and acquisition projects. "In view of this change in the management team, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie is excellently set up to continue its growth path in the future," the company says.
