Alexander Bargum has been named as the Algol Group’s new managing director. He will take up his new post at the Finnish chemical distributor this coming June 1. “We are carrying out an orderly transfer of management from one generation to the next in order to enable long-term planning. The advantage of a family business for employees is precisely the continuity of operations,” says Algol board chairman Martin Granholm. “Alexander will be a modern and competent managing director. His previous work experience has provided him with comprehensive business skills and during his familiarisation period with Algol, Alexander has gained practical experience [of] Algol’s business operations.”
