Greece’s largest chemical distributor, Neochimiki, has become the fifth new member to join the European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC) this year.
Greek shipowner Remi Maritime has taken a second 20,000 dwt chemical/product tanker, understood to cost approximately $40m, from the Soli Shipyard in Turkey.
Athens was a busy place in June. A combination of tourists, Olympic delegates and shipping tycoons and, more noticeably, the taxis filled the streets, bringing an estimated €55m to the region in three days.
