United Shipping & Trading Co (USTC) has acquired the tanker operations of Erria A/S. The deal involves nine chemical tankers together with Erria’s commercial chartering operations, and is rather different to the deal originally announced this past August.
United Shipping & Trading Co A/S has agreed to merge its Uni Tankers chemical tanker operations with those of fellow Danish shipowner Erria A/S, with UTSC as the majority shareholder.
Two small Danish tanker shipping companies, Uni-Tankers A/S and Erria A/S, are considering a merger of their tanker activities, the two told the Copenhagen Stock Exchange last month.
