K+N ups earnings

Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) has announced first half 2010 net earnings of SFr 281m ($266.3m), an increase of 8.9 per cent year-on-year, from a turnover worth SFr 9.8bn, itself up 15.9 per cent over the same period.

As well as FTL, LTL and weekly groupage services between Belarus, the rest of Europe, Russia and Kazakhstan, K+N also offers global airfreight transport through Minsk airport as well as LCL and FCL services via the ports of Klaipeda in Lithuania and Riga in Latvia.
